PURPOSE: A cutter is provided to minimize the loss of power by interlocking a cutting unit with a rotating mover with the rotational force of a driving device and to improve assembling efficiency and repairability by simplifying structure. CONSTITUTION: A cutter(1) comprises a connecting bar(10), an adapter(20), a cutting unit(30) and a driving device(45). The connecting bar is a hollow core member, and the adapter is separably installed in the upper end of the connecting bar. The cutting unit is fixed on the inner space of the adapter. The cutting unit is formed in a scissors shape having blades(31a,31b) and handles(32a,32b). A coil spring(33) is connected between the handles. The blades are maintained in the mutually contacting state by the elastic supporting power of the coil spring. A driving power transmitting element(40) for transmitting the power generated by the driving device to the cutting unit is constituted of a rotator(50), a driven shaft(60) and a driving shaft(70). The rotator placed between the handles of the cutting unit induces shaking of the blades. The rotator applies displacement to the handles of the cutting unit. One end of the driven shaft is combined with the rotator while the other end is placed in a portion where the adapter is combined with the connecting bar. The driving shaft is connected to the driving device outside the connecting bar and applied with rotational force. The cutter rotates the rotator via the driving shaft and the driven shaft. With rotation of the rotator, the cutting unit repeats rotation in a specific angle by centering on a hinge(34). The blades interlocking with the handles repeat widening and narrowing. Therefore, cutting work is performed.
