A current limiter based on high-temperature superconductor, and comprising at least one module which drops a module voltage (Um) in the limiting case, and has elements (4,4') which have a conductor path (40) of superconducting material, in which permanent operating currents (L,L') flow. The elements are arranged such that the two conductor paths interact magnetically. Between a specified point (P) and the conductor path (40) and the nearest lying point (P') of the other conductor path, in the limiting case, a voltage (Up) is present which is less that half the module voltage (Um/2). |
