PURPOSE: A method for copying inter-VMS(Voice Mailing System) voice mail information in a paging system is provided to enable voice mail information to be reproduced between VMSs in a paging system. CONSTITUTION: In case that a voice information copy request is transmitted from a calling VMS(VMS#1) to a called VMS(VMS#2)(200), a calling VMSC requests a WAPS block to extract ASP and LN information for a DN(202). Then the calling VMSC checks whether a req_flag is set to "1"(204). In case that the req_flag is "0", the calling VMSC executes non VMS subscriber processing for an associated LN of a PSC block(206). Then the calling VMSC requests connection for a copy function to the called VMS(208). A called VMSC establishes access for the copy function, transmits a VMS termination request to the called VMS and receives a result(210). The VMS termination request result is transmitted to the calling VMSC. In response to the result, the calling VMSC connects a space switch with the called VMSC(212) and notifies it of the called VMSC. Then the calling VMSC connects a time switch to the space switch, and informs the calling VMS that a call path has been connected(214). Also the called VMSC connects a time switch to the space switch, and informs the called VMS that the call path has been connected(216).
