CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR OF VACUUM CLEANER

PURPOSE: A cyclone dust collector of a vacuum cleaner is provided to remove convenience in the removal of contaminants from a contaminant collecting grille by installing a contaminant removal unit and a rotating grip and to improve dust collecting performance by making air flows smoothly. CONSTITUTION: A cyclone dust collector of a vacuum cleaner is installed on a suction path between a cleaner body and a suction brush. The cyclone dust collector includes a cyclone body, a contaminant collecting grill(60) and a contaminant removal unit. The cyclone body includes a cylindrical cyclone container(51) and a cyclone cover(55) removably installed on the cyclone container. The cyclone cover has an air inlet pipe(56) communicated with the suction brush to slantingly guide the air sucked into the cyclone container from the suction brush and an air outlet pipe(57) communicated with a dust collecting chamber to flow out air from the cyclone container to the dust collecting chamber. The air rising in the cyclone container is discharged via the air outlet pipe while contaminants of which particle is larger than the grate of fine passing holes(61) are deposited in the cyclone container. The contaminant removal unit includes a frame, a brush(72) and a rotating grip(74). With the contaminant removal unit, a user removes the contaminants stuck on the contaminant collecting grill without the use of a hand.
