PAGING CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD BY OPERATOR SELECTION IN CDMA MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A paging control apparatus and method by an operator selection in a CDMA mobile communication system are provided to achieve the stabilization of the system by preventing a failure in advance by an operator's command when a failure due to the overload of a switching system is expected. CONSTITUTION: A home location register(100) stores routing information on the switch of a called subscriber. A visitor location register(200) stores subscribe information and location information on the called subscriber. A switch(300) is in charge of the region of the called subscriber. A memory(301) stores paging function selection command selected by an operator. A mobile configuration data handling(MCDH)(302) is in charge of an interface between the switch(300) and the operator. A mobile call control(MCC)(303) performs a call processing function in the switch. A mobile paging control(MPC)(304) is loaded to an NTP(number translation processor) and performs a paging operation in the switch.
