PURPOSE: Provided is a resist composition used for overcoats of TFT-LCD color filters, which is excellent in heat-resistance, transparency, leveling rate, and pattern-stability. CONSTITUTION: The resist composition having a viscosity of 5-15cps comprises: a binder resin represented by the formula 1, which is a copolymer having an average molecular weight of 5,000-40,000, a dispersion degree of 1.6-3.0, and an acidity of 50-150KOHmg/g; 5-95wt% (based on the solid component of the total resin) of multi-functional monomers; 0.1-50wt% (based on the solid component of the total resin) of a photoinitiator; 0.1-10wt% (based on the solid component of the total resin) of a silicon compound containing an epoxy group; 0.1-3wt% (based on the solid component of the total resin) of a composition consisting of a sensitizer, a thermal polymerization inhibitor, a defoaming agent, a leveling agent, and etc.; a solvent. In the formula, X is hydrogen or methyl, Y1 is C2-C16 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl, and Y2 is the formula(I), (II), etc., wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl. |
