PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating sewage and wastewater provided, in which granular sludge and ionized contaminants are separated by centrifugal force and centripetal force together with effects of ozone and ultraviolet ray in magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a vertical cylindrical main body(12) that has an inlet(20) at side top and an outlet(22) at side top of the other side, in which a first treatment part(14) at the bottom and a second treatment part(16) just above the first part(14) are installed. The first treatment part(14) is of a double tube type that has an inlet(20) at the top and a sludge discharge line(29) at the bottom, a venturi type inlet to induce ozone together with influent water. The inner pipe(48) of open bottom having an ultraviolet lamp(52) in it is rotationally hung to the secondary treatment part at the top. The secondary treatment part(16) having a rotating shaft(92) and being connected to the inner pipe of the primary treatment part(14) is composed of upper and lower members(86,88). Around the inner and outer pipe permanent magnetics are installed.
