PURPOSE: A web messenger service system and a method thereof are provided to transmit and receive a message in real time by checking a message received to a user through not a messenger server but a web server. CONSTITUTION: A router(300) sets the optimum communication path for a physical connection and a message transmission when a client computer(100) is connected through the Internet(200) and wishes to transmits a message. A web server(400) displays a web page adapted to a selection item selected by a client in a web browser of the client computer(100). A messenger server(500) is provided for exchanging information between at least one client. A database server(600) stores the message transmitted from the client and client information through the web server(400). A WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) gateway(700) converts a protocol capable of being connected to the Internet(200) and converts a protocol for displaying information transmitted through the Internet(200) into information capable of being confirmed in a wireless terminal(110) when the client wishes to connect to the Internet(200) through the wireless terminal(110).
