CORRECTION METHOD OF WHEEL SPEED

PURPOSE: To precisely correct a wheel speed even when attaching a spare tire. CONSTITUTION: This correction method of the wheel speed for finding a corrected wheel speed by multiplying the measurement wheel speed by a correction coefficient is so formed that the measurement wheel speed is found from a signal from wheel speed sensors of respective wheels; a reference measurement wheel speed is decided among the respective measurement wheel speeds; the correction coefficient multiplying the measurement wheel speed for finding the correction wheel speed is so calculated that the correction wheel speed is made to approach to the reference measurement wheel speed, and an initial value of the correction coefficient is set with the diameter of the spare tire set to the reference.
