PURPOSE: A suction filter of a pump is provided to reduce manpower required to clean a filter frequently, to lengthen the life span of a pump body as well as to save energy by shortening the working time of a pump. CONSTITUTION: To prevent a filter(A3) from clogging with various waste and water plants, the strength of suction water current is reduced. The rate of suction to discharge is changed into 2:1 from 1:1. If so, suction force is diffused to suck water slowly. The suction filter does not need plural suction hoses. The suction filter needs a single hose. Both left and right suction ports(A1,A2) are mounted on a pump to suck water. More suction ports are used. If the suction-to-discharge rate is set 2:1, the filter is not clogged. The pumping time of the pump is shortened to 5h from 6-7h. In addition, the pump is prevented from overheating. The life span of the pump is lengthened.
