摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioelectric impedance measurement device capable of accurately measuring a bioelectric impedance without measurement errors without the danger of dropping the device during measurement. SOLUTION: This bioelectric impedance device of a type to be used by arranging the palms of both hands so as to almost face each other with a prescribed interval and lifting it with both hands is provided with a pair of thumb insertion holes 22a and 22b for inserting the thumbs of both hands, a pair of electrodes 23a and 23b for the thumbs where the inserted thumbs of both hands are to be brought into contact and arranged, a pair of the electrodes 24a and 24b for the palms were the palms of both hands are to be brought into contact and arranged, an AC current supply means for supplying an AC current to either one of the pair of the electrodes for the thumbs and the pair of the electrodes for the palms, a voltage measurement means for measuring a voltage between the other pair of the electrodes and an arithmetic means for computing the bioelectric impedance based on the supplied AC current and the measured voltage.
