<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively treat car wash effluent containing petroleum components or mineral oil components which are micronized or emulsionized. SOLUTION: In a contact bath 1, the car wash effluent is brought into contact with a filter bed 3 on which microorganisms are deposited and stuck, further is aerated by stirring with compressed air from an aeration device 4 and then sludge is precipitated in a precipitation tank 2. A part of the precipitated sludge is always returned to the contact bath 1 by a sludge returning machine 5. Used microorganism is an aggregate of microorganisms contained in sewerage and is propagated by charging the sewerage at the time of starting an operation of the device.</p> |
