PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit for divers capable of properly issuing a warning of being violation of a floating speed by judging whether or not the floating speed is proper by a condition fit for a present state. SOLUTION: In this information processing unit for divers, a floating speed violation warning means 77 compares a floating speed upper limit value 76 set with every depth of water with a present floating speed measured by a floating speed measuring means 75 when monitoring whether or not the floating speed is proper. The floating speed upper limit value 76 is set so as to allow a relatively large floating speed in a deep place and allow only a relatively small floating speed in a shallow place. When there are continuously floating speed violation warnings two times in diving, a diving result recording means 78 records the effect.
