PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider with an automatic stop device allowing a plate spring with a stop claw to be easily mounted to a slider body in a stable form by pressing. SOLUTION: In this slider with the automatic stop device, a projecting piece 17 is provided behind an upper blade 4 of a slider body 1, and a claw hole 20 is provided in its base part. A projecting piece 12 is provided in front of the upper blade 4. The projecting piece 12 is provided with an abutting part 14 on which a locking tongue piece 24 of a plate spring 2 abuts. A front face of a guide column 6 is provided with a groove 21 with a locking part 22. The plate spring 2 is formed in inverted U-shape and provided with a stop claw 8 at one end, and a hanging piece 9 at the other end. The hanging piece 9 is provided with a locking piece 23 engaged with the locking part 22. The locking tongue piece 24 is provided by bending at the center of the plate spring 2. The plate spring 2 is locked to the rear projecting piece 17 and the locking part 22 of the guide column 14 to form the engaging tongue piece 24 in constant pressure contact with the abutting part 14. |
