PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-cleaning film which has self-cleaning properties on its surface and whose transparency is improved by decreasing the surface reflection and whose visibility is not decreased when it is applied on the surfaces such as window glasses, signboards and road signals. SOLUTION: A surface layer which is made highly hydrophilic and has the self cleaning properties is provided on the surface of a layer with a higher refractive index than the refractive index of the surface layer by a thickness of 0.05-0.20μm.
