COATING AGENT AND ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT ABSORBING FILM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent having good dispersibility of zinc oxide superfine particles and provide an ultraviolet light absorbing film excellent in transparency by applying the above coating agent to the surface of a film and drying the surface. SOLUTION: This coating agent consists mainly of a mixture of 100 pts.wt. water-dispersible polyester resin with 1-400 pts.wt. zinc oxide superfine particles and water. This ultraviolet light absorbing film has a layer obtained by applying the coating agent to at least one side of a thermoplastic film and drying the coating agent.
