PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in heat resistance and molding processabilities, flexible and inexpensive, and to provide films, injection molded articles, bottles and the like obtained using the resin composition. SOLUTION: [1] The resin composition comprises 1-99 wt.% of a poly-1,4- phenylene ether (A) and 99-1 wt.% of a copolymer (B) bearing a functional group reactive with the poly-1,4-phenylene ether. [2] In the resin composition described in [1], the copolymer (B) bearing a functional group reactive with the poly-1,4-phenylene ether is a copolymer containing 0.1-30 wt.% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester unit and/or an unsaturated glycidyl ether unit. [3] Also are provided films, injection molded articles and bottles obtained using the resin composition described in [1] or [2].
