PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase in the weight of the conventional washstands as these washstands are formed as a complete box structure. SOLUTION: This washstand has a basin base which is provided with a spout means, a drain means and a basin, base supporting planar members which are joined to both sides toward the front of the basin base by means error absorption binder members and connecting members which connect the base supporting planar members to each other.
