PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism for an inter-stand machine for lending game media capable of easily performing a work when an inter-stand machine body is removed from a frame. SOLUTION: This inter-stand machine for lending game media is constituted by attachably/detachably mounting the inter-stand machine body by inserting the machine into the frame 1 mounted within an island. The lock mechanism for the inter-stand machine is provided with an engagement member 21 provided on either one of a back face side of the inter-stand machine body and a vertical part 1c of the frame 1, an engagement hole 22 provided with the engagement member, 21 so as to be insertable on the other hand, a lock member 23a for preventing the engagement member 21 from falling in a state of the engagement member 21 inserted into the engagement hole 22 and an energizing member 32 for elastically energizing the lock member 23a in the falling prevention direction of the engagement member 21 and is further provided with a holding means 36 for holding a state when the lock member 23a is operated in the falling prevention releasing direction of the engagement member 21 against energizing force of the energizing member 32.
