PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating a torpedo ladle car is provided which shortens heating time and reduces fuel consumption by forming a heating device used for preheating and drying the torpedo ladle car into a heat exchange type. CONSTITUTION: In heating the inner surface of a torpedo ladle car(A) with the burner by installing a burner(1) and a blower(2) at a movable truck(B), the apparatus for heating a torpedo ladle car comprises a heat exchange unit(3) having plural heat receiving pipes(13) which is vertically installed in front of the blower(2) fixed to the truck; a nozzle part which is installed so that it is drafted lengthwise to the front side by penetrating a pipe body(7) of the burner(1) into the middle of the heat receiving pipes(13); a blowing pipe(6) connected to the lower part of the heat exchange unit(3); and a hot air supply pipe(8) connected between the upper part of the heat exchange unit(3) and the pipe body(7) of the burner(1) so that cold air is heat exchanged in the heat exchange unit(3), and then supplied to the nozzle part of the burner by passing through the hot air supply pipe(8), wherein the apparatus further comprises an inclined plate by which the body of the heat exchange unit(3) is divided into a cold air inlet chamber(11) and a heat exchange chamber(12); an opening of the rear part of a plurality of projected heat receiving pipes(13) which is installed at the outer wall of the heat exchange chamber(12) so that the opening is connected to the heat exchange chamber(12); and cold air guiding pipes(15) which are inserted into each of the heat receiving pipes(13) in a double pipe shape so that the rear part of the cold air guiding pipes(15) is connected to the cold air inlet chamber(11).
