PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin steel sheet for steel houses, capable of suppressing a loss by fire to minimum, which improves a default that a member used for steel houses formed from a material only cold causes not only an expansion of damages but also its deformation and deterioration due to the exposure to high temperature by fire and resulting lowering is the strength and the deformation of the steel house, and as a result, then resulting the steel house by utilizing the remained part in a case of partial destruction by fire, the structure of the result steel house lacks in the strength, thus the exchange of members beyond the destroyed part by the fire is required. SOLUTION: This thin steel sheet for steel houses, capable of suppressing a loss by fire to minimum, is produced by controlling a composition of the steel sheet for the member of steel houses, particularly the composition in cold- molding, mainly used for the member of steel houses, to be 0.02-0.20% C, and at least one selected from <1.0% Mo, <0.60% Nb, <0.8% V, <1.0% W and <0.6% Ti, wherein 0.04-1.5% Mo+Nb+V+W+Ti, is satisfied, and further, by specifying the ratio of cold molding to 20-90% and maintaining high strength in high-temperature heat treatment and after the heat treatment.
