PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin care preparation excellent in skin humectant effects, skin beautifying effects, ameliorating effects on skin roughening, compatibility with the skin, stability and safety by improving physiological functions of the skin. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is obtained by including any of plant extracted mixtures such as extracted mixtures of Matricaria chamomilla L., Foeniculum vulgare Mill., Humulus lupulus L., Achillea millefolium L., Melissa officinalis L. and Viscum album L. var. lutescens Makino, one or more kinds of extracts selected from the group of specific plants and one or more kinds of mucopolysaccharides in combination in a base for a preparation for external use. Two or more kinds selected from the skin care preparation are combined for use to care for the skin.
