PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for exhibiting excellent durability of a bead part by restraining a carcass inner end in the tire radial direction to be pinched between facing bead cores from being drawn out from the bead cores and by securing strength and rigidity. SOLUTION: A radial carcass is provided with the inner end in the radial direction to be locked between a pair of facing bead cores, at least one bead core of a pair of bead cores of each bead part is formed of a steel cord stranded of element wires of a plurality of element wires, the steel cord has the outer counter develop extending over the whole circumference of the bead core and has a track course shape formed of two facing horizontal lines and two facing arches contiguous with both ends of them, and the facing horizontal line sides are arranged along the inner ends of the carcass.
