AIR CLEANING MECHANISM FOR INTRASTRUCTURE SPACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning mechanism which is capable of cleaning air in an intrastructure space without discharging the air from the air cleaning mechanism or a structure with a capability to lower the degree of contamination of the air to be discharged from the structure as well as making the installation of a ventilation hole or a ventilation tower to the structure unnecessary. SOLUTION: This air cleaning mechanism includes a covering for wrapping a side area (26) and a top area (24) connected to the upper part of the former for defining the space of the structure (10) and at least one filter device (46), for capturing a dust suspended matter in the space, which is installed in the space. The covering has a property such as to cause a dielectric polarization to the dust suspended matter which comes into contact with the covering in the space. The covering is formed of a continuous body or a large number of dot-like bodies.
