PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for judging the changing point of the lung for ventilating most appropriately the patient on the artificial respiration device. SOLUTION: This is a monitoring device and method for discovering the critical opening pressure, the critical compression pressure and the overexpansion pressure of the lung by firstly transmitting the pulse of the gas to the lung without leaking the gas and then by leaking the gas in the same form of pulse state and monitoring the pressure change generated during that time. By viewing the simple pressure vs. time display of the pressure change, and by monitoring the total pressure change and increased pressure change, the critical opening pressure, the critical compression pressure and the overexpansion pressure can be judged. |
