PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converge articles conveyed in two rows into one row by a simple structure. SOLUTION: Articles 4 conveyed in two rows by a feed conveyor 2 are temporality stopped by rotary stoppers 6, 8 provided on each row, synchronized, and then sorted three by three. Intermediate conveyors 10, 12 traveling at the speed lower than the feed conveyor 2 are arranged on downstream sides of respective rows of the articles 4 conveyed by the feed conveyor 2, and the articles 4 of respective rows are bonded when they are transferred onto the conveyors 10, 12. One intermediate conveyor 12 is longer than the other one 10, and the articles 4 are delivered from the intermediate conveyors 10, 12 to a collective conveyor 14 traveling at the high speed on the downstream side. Since the articles 4 are alternately transferred from the intermediate conveyors 10, 12 of two rows to the collective conveyor 14 by deviating the timing, they are alternately conveyed in a state where they are spaced in the longitudinal direction. Collection guides 16, 18 are provided on the collective conveyor 14, and the articles 4 are converged into one row.
