PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for packing which is light-weight and can be miniaturized while providing a cushioning effect being higher than a conventional method. SOLUTION: These cushioning materials 12 and 14 for packing are arranged between a product and a rectangular box when the approximately rectangular product (an electronic appliance 10) is packed, and protect the product from vibrations or impacts at the time of transport. In this case, the cushioning materials 12 and 14 for packing are formed of a plate-form resin material, and are constituted in such a manner that a pair or a plurality of pairs of the cushioning materials 12, 14 for packing are respectively fitted on confronted surfaces of the product (the electronic appliance 10), and are attached in a manner to pinch the product (the electronic appliance 10). Therefore, the cushioning materials 12 and 14 for packing can be made lighter and miniaturized.
