PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of enlargingly displaying a virtual image which is hardly distorted. SOLUTION: This display device comprises an indicating instrument 8, a luminescent display element 14 and an optical member 15 accommodated in a housing 18. The indicating instrument 8 is provided with a display board 9 with an index part; a pointer 11 with an indicating part 11a for indicating the index part; and a pointer driving means 12 for rotating the pointer 11. The optical member 15 has at least a concave mirror 17. The length of the index part is gradually different so that the overlap width of the indicating part 11a and index part is almost constant regardless of the rotating position of the pointer 11, and an imaginary line connecting the outside of a virtual image of the index part is approximately a circular arc.
