COLOR FILTER STRUCTURE OF SEMI-REFLECTION SEMI-TRANSMISSION TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A color filter structure of a semi-reflection semi-transmission type liquid crystal display device is provided, which is constructed in a manner that a part of a color resin that corresponds to a reflection part of a unit pixel is removed, to easily control luminance and color characteristics and to simplify processes. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display is constructed in such a manner that a glass substrate(201) serving as a support, a color resin(202) configured of a light transmission part and a light reflection part to express colors, and a transparent electrode(203) formed of a conductor for applying voltage to liquid crystal cells are sequentially formed. The color resin is formed in a stripe shape at the reflection part. An overcoat(204) is formed on the color resin in order to planarize the surface of the color resin having the transmission part and reflection part having different heights.
