PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten work efficiency by allowing forward/reverse changeover only when a handle is swung forward. SOLUTION: In a walking type working vehicle, the handle 22 is constituted to be swingable forward and backward, and the handle is provided with a forward/reverse changeover operating means 65. Changeover operation by the forward/reverse operating means 65 can be performed only when the handle 22 is swung forward. When the handle is swung forward, the handle can be changeover-operated within a lateral set angle from the lateral center by the forward/reverse operating means. An operating guide 66 of the forward/reverse operating means is provided with a forward position, a neutral position and a reverse position, and a changeover operation regulating member of the forward/reverse changeover operating means is provided at a handle mounting base part 22b. The regulating member is composed of a hole 21a disposed in a handle base, and a pin 75 disposed at the handle base part and connected to the forward/reverse changeover operating means.
