PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting controller by which the casting is smoothly started while preventing the solidication and oxidation of molten metal in the inner part of a pouring hole in an upper plate and the casting can smoothly be restarted even in the case of interrupting the pouring in a casting device provided with the upper plate and a lower plate. SOLUTION: The casting controller is provided with an upper nozzle, a lower nozzle, the upper plate which is provided with the pouring hole disposed in the middle part of these nozzles and controls the pouring of the molten metal from the upper nozzle to the lower nozzle, and the lower plate. In the controller, the lower plate is provided with fine hole part for blowing the gas into the nozzle hole in the upper nozzle, a porous plug part for supporting the fine hole part from the lower side and a cushion material for sealing the gas to be supplied to the porous plug in a gap between the lower plate and a holding member.
