PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing utensil for packaging a cylindrical body by which the cylindrical body such as a photo-sensitive drum can be stably supported when being packaged, and at the same time, which prevents the reduction in quality of the cylindrical body due to a contact between the external surface of the cylindrical body and the fixing utensil from occurring, can be formed at a comparatively low cost, and by which the packaging of the cylindrical body and the disassembly of the packaging can be easily performed. SOLUTION: This fixing utensil l for packaging a cylindrical body comprises a pyramid shape body 2 formed of side plates 4 on the four surfaces and a bottom plate 5. Then, on the side plates 4 of the pyramid shape body 2, a slit hole 3 by a perforation which is surrounded by a horizontal line section 7 and an arc-shape section 8 is formed. By inserting the cylindrical body in the slit holes 3 by cutting the perforations, the cylindrical body is stably supported by the internal edges of the slit holes 3.
