PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium suitable for a high packing density optical disk system (DVD-R) using a semiconductor laser having an oscillation wavelength in a shorter wavelength and having excellent light resistance and storage stability in an information recording medium capable of recording, reproducing and writing once information by bringing about an optical change of a transmittance, a reflectivity or the like of a recording material by emitting an optical beam. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium comprising a recording layer on a substrate, the layer contains a specific formazane metal chelate dye. |
