PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact tip and a guide bushing for arc welding, by which a distance between base materials can be increased within an allowable range, and the refuse of a welding wire does not stay. SOLUTION: This is the contact tip 11 for arc welding which consists of a contact tip main body 12 and a guide bushing 13. The guide bushing 13 consists of an annular member made of ceramics and has an inner peripheral surface 16 with a tapered surface 14 and a straight surface 15, an outer peripheral surface 17, the first end face 18 at the end of the insertion side and the second end face 19 at the end of the opposite side to the first end face 18. The tapered surface 14 consists of a taper expanding its diameter as it approaches the first end face 18 and the taper corresponding part 23 of the contact tip main body 12 adheres closely to the tapered surface 14. |
