PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously perform the medium forming operation without interrupting it even if any of plural stacking parts is clogged with a medium during the medium forming operation. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sorting mechanism 38 having a plurality of carriages 41 to 43 for receiving plural kinds of conveying cards, for sorting the received cards according to the kind of cards by the movement of the carriages, and sorting and stacking them to a plurality of stackers 31 to 34; and a control means 47 for receiving and stacking cards by one carriage when the cards can not be stacked on any of plural stackers 31 to 34 and are conveyed to a stacker incapable of stacking, while receiving cards by the other carriage and sorting them to a stacker capable of stacking when the cards to be stacked are conveyed to the stacker capable of stacking.
