PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jiffy rice washer which enables a user to easily wash rice with a small volume of water when washing the rice and-to touch the water to the least possible extent. SOLUTION: This jiffy rice washer is constituted by providing the flank of a round shaped container 1 with round shaped holes 2, putting a bamboo colander therein, providing the flank of a round shaped columnar pipe 11 with vane plates 14 in the central part, providing the round shaped container with an upper lid 7 meeting the same, providing the upper part of a round shaped columnar pipe 11 with an inverted L-shaped pipe 12, providing the upper part of its side part with a round shaped knob part 13, providing the upper lid with a semicircular hole 9 and providing the center of a closing lid 7 with a round shaped hole 8.
