METHOD FOR PRODUCING AMINE DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amine derivative represented by general formula (3) H2N-Z1-A-Z2 (3) substantially not containing an inorganic salt. SOLUTION: This method for producing the amine compound is characterized by reacting an amino compound represented by general formula (1) H2N-Z1-AH (1) with a compound represented by general formula (2) X-Z2 (2) in an aqueous solution of an inorganic alkali to give a reaction solution containing the amine derivative represented by general formula (3) and an inorganic salt produced as a by-product, then reacting the reaction solution with a carbonyl compound represented by general formula (4) to give an imine compound represented by general formula (5), separating the imine compound from the inorganic salt and treating the imine compound with water or an acid.
