PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a jamming wave is provided so that a cellular phone cannot be used in a designated area by intercepting an electric wave band of the cellular phone, namely 869 to 894MHz of DCS and 1840 to 1870MHz of PCS. CONSTITUTION: When a user sets up a wanted measurement/wave generation mode, for example a jamming wave generation mode through a switch(80), a control unit(10) outputs a signal to a D/A converter(20) under the control of an interface(90), and the D/A converter(20) transmits an analog value to a voltage control oscillator(30). Here, the voltage control oscillator(30) generates a corresponding frequency according to a reference voltage from the control unit(10). When the voltage control oscillator(30) receives a waveform of a jamming wave from a waveform generator(40), demodulates the jamming wave, and applies it to the corresponding frequency, it passes through a band-pass filter(70). Accordingly, only the DCS/PCS band frequency which is a cellular phone wave remains. A detector(50) measures a strength of the frequency. That is, the detector(50) generates a frequency containing a sum or difference of the frequency passing through the band-pass filter(70) in a mixer unit(60) and the frequency generated in the voltage control oscillator(30), and oscillates the frequency through the band-pass filter(70).
