PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a sublimable heat sensitive transfer recording material capable of giving an excellent transfer image having excellent adhesive properties to a sublimable ink layer and small dyeing of a sublimable dye to a film side without transferring the ink layer to image receiving paper. SOLUTION: The polyester film for the sublimable heat sensitive transfer recording material comprises an easily adhesive coating layer for simultaneously satisfying (1) 0.30<=A<=0.90, (2) 0.10<=B<=0.50, (3) 0.50<=C<=0.30, and (4) 0.25<=C/B<=2 (wherein A, B and C are weight ratios of an aqueous acrylic compound (A), an aqueous polyester (B) and an aqueous epoxy compound (C)) on a surface of a sublimable transfer ink layer in a biaxially stretched polyester film for the recording material used by providing the sublimable ink layer on its surface. |
