PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a writing element consisting of a pen point and an ink storage barrel suffers an impact due to a fall directly when a writing utensil happens to have fallen from a desk or a pocket with a cap fitted to the writing utensil and consequently, the leakage of ink from the tip or the rear end of the writing element often tends to occur and the ink leakage fouls the interior of the cap and also comes out of the cap, resulting in the fouling of clothes, hands, a paper space or the like. SOLUTION: This cap-type writing utensil is structured of the writing element having an ink storage part arranged in a barrel and a cap converting the tip of the writing element, attached, in a freely attachable/detachable manner, to the tip of the barrel. In the writing utensil, an elastic body coming into contact with the tip of the writing element is arranged inside the cap and at the same time, the writing element is urged forward by a spring member. |
