PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip casting material by which a main conduit, especially its metal part, of a blast furnace is prevented from wear and tear by a hot- metal and a hot-slag, and its lifetime is extended. SOLUTION: Melting loss and elastic modulus are decreased and no crack is caused by adding a carbon granule of 5-30 wt.% to the alumina-SiC-C-based slip casting material for the conduit of the blast furnace. |
