PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the mounting errors without adjust bracket. SOLUTION: The side of an opening end 12 from which the air bag body of an air bag module 5 swells is mounted directly on an air bag lid section 4 at two points located on both sides of the opening end 12 when viewed from a side, and the side of the end nearly opposite to the opening end 12 of the air bag module 5 is fixed to a car body side member 21 at one point when viewed from a side, and the side of the opening end 12 of the air bag module 5 is mounted on an air bag lid section 4 through a mounting error absorbing means 27 so that mounting errors can be absorbed.
