<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a pressure molded body in which the body can be smoothly taken out from the mold. SOLUTION: This method of pressure molding employs a mold unit having a passage 18 for ventilation locating at the outer downward space of the pressure molded body G in the cavity 16, and after pressing the glass material in the mold unit, removing the upper mold, lifting the glass molded body G by sucking from above when a gas is permitted to flow in the space, resulting in smooth taking out of the glass molded body G.</p> |
