<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for removing dioxins and acidic gas from exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment apparatus is equipped with a cooler 12 for cooling exhaust gas, an adsorbing column 22 having a packed bed of an adsorbent for adsorbing dioxins and passing the exhaust gas, which flows out of the cooler, through the packed bed to adsorb and remove dioxins in the exhaust gas, a washing column 14 for washing the exhaust gas, which flows out of the adsorbing column, with an alkaline washing liquid and a solid separator 16 for separating a solid in the waste liquid discharged from the washing column. The adsorbing column 22 is a fixed bed type adsorbing column filled with an adsorbent comprising a mixture which consists of 5-80 wt.% of a granular material high in the concentration of carbon and the remainder of an inert granular material.</p> |
