PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correct recognition of codes. SOLUTION: Since printing is carried out by nozzles excluding nozzles 3a and 3b at one end part among nozzles 3a-3p of a printer head 2, codes printed by scanning the printer head 2 are prevented from overlapping for every scanning as indicated by a part surrounded by an elliptic part in the drawing. Codes are thus correctly printed. Moreover, since code columns 11 for synchronization are printed, a position of printed dots can be correctly detected, enabling correct recognition of codes.
