PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image output apparatus in which a user is not required to wait for a long time until the end of print on the image output apparatus side even when a long time is required for printing a large quantity of print and can utilize the waiting time effectively, and a stacker is utilized effectively while protecting secrecy of a print and preventing missing or theft of the print by transferring a printed sheet, being stored for a long time in a stacker, to a stacker from which the user cannot take out the printed sheet even when the stacker is filled up with printed sheets. SOLUTION: Pinted sheets are held in stackers 108-110 from which a user can take out the printed sheets by inputting a cipher number temporarily thereby opening/closing a shutter. Based on use conditions of the stackers 108-110, a CPU 212 controls to transfer the printed sheet from a stacker 108-110 satisfying specified conditions to a stacker BOX 112 from which the user cannot take out the printed sheet. |
