PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic carpet causing no irregular touch on a pile face or no reduction in the antistatic effect due to a crack in a conductive lining coating film even in cold winter by using a conductive fiber yarn. SOLUTION: All the piles 13 of a carpet finished by applying an adhesive 16 to all over a backstitch face of a pile cloth are constructed of a piled yarn principally consisting of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber mixed with a conductive fiber 11 of less than 1 wt.%. As the conductive fiber 11, a thermoplastic synthetic fiber having a cyano group and with introduced copper sulfate is used. The adhesive 16 principally consisting of a carboxylated denatured styrene- butadiene-rubber latex having a glass transition temperature ranging from -20 deg.C to -45 deg.C is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. a carobxylated denatured styrene-butadiene-rubber latex in termo of solid content with 20-60 pts.wt. of an antistatic agent and <=60 pts.wt. of solid fine powder. As the antistatic agent, fibrous carbon black with a specific surface area of 500 g/m2 or more, a length of 0.5-3.0 mm, and a diameter of 20μm or less is used.
