PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a biodegradable hollow molded body, which is lightweight and easy to handle, strong and usable for a long term and can realize a natural circulation type recycling and is friendly to natural environment, by a blow molding. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is so constituted that either one among a single biodegradable polylactic acid resin pellet, a biodegradable resin A pellet, Which is prepared by compounding 300 pts.wt. or less of another biodegradable aliphatic polyester resin to 100 pts.wt. or the biodegradable polylactic acid resin, or a biodegradable resin B pellet, which is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. or less of starch to 100 pts.wt. of the biodegradable polylactic acid resin is employed as its material so as to be blow-molded under an air pressure of 0.5 to 5.5 kg/m2 into a desired predetermined shape after being prepared its water content to 10 to 200 ppm through a low temperature drying under below the glass transition temperature intrinsic to the biodegradable resin.
