PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight device for a dust collector which is devised so that a dust-containing airflow not filtered with a filter does not leak as it is to the side of a clean room even when an opening appears because of the defects, breakage, or the like of the packings of a filter installation plate (a partition plate) partitioning a dust room of a dust collector from the clean room. SOLUTION: Packings 15A, 15B are fitted to a filter installation plate 13 for partitioning the dust room 1H of a dust collector from the clean room 4 and for installing a filter 12. The packing 15B, the lower side one of the two packings, is tightly attached to a filter installation stand 1X inwardly projected to the upper inside surface of the dust room 1H, and the outside surface of packing 15B is exposed to the outside of the dust room 1H.
