PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage drying device which is capable of facilitating post-treatment for forming dry garbage obtained after drying garbage, into a fertilizer or feed, and also, appropriately being used in an advanced recycle type recycling society. SOLUTION: This treatment device is provided with: a receiving vessel 1 for receiving garbage; a heating means 10 for drying the garbage; an agitation means 6 for agitating the garbage within the receiving vessel 1; a drying treatment temperature selection means 21 for selecting the drying treatment temperature within the receiving vessel 1; and a controller 34 for changing the drying treatment temperature within the receiving vessel 1 and/or operational behavior of the agitation means 6, correspondingly to the drying treatment temperature selected by the drying treatment temperature selection means 21, or the frequency of a commercial power source used. Thus, the garbage drying treatment device is capable of facilitating post-treatment for forming dry garbage obtained after the garbage drying treatment, into a fertilizer or feed, and also, appropriately being used in an advanced recycle type recycling society.
